A video sent to Stomp shows water pooling on the station platform, with barricades placed around the affected areas. A post on the subreddit r/singapore by user TheDoorDoesntWork at around 8am also included an image of the MRT platform. One complained: "Got affected by the TEL disruption and had to go to Raffles Place to get the EWL instead. Saw the water pouring from the ceiling and wondered if I somehow ended up in New York today."
