She ran to the Sheng Siong supermarket at Block 61 across the road for help. "Without hesitation, a staff member grabbed a fire extinguisher and followed me over while another lady staff member brought pails of water to help douse the fire," said the Stomper. The Stomper added: "I am truly grateful to these two members of Sheng Siong staff who acted so selflessly. A Sheng Siong spokesperson told Stomp: "Our store manager was alerted to the incident and promptly assisted in extinguishing the fire."
