On Sept 16, TikTok user pupala2177 shared a compilation of clips showing vapes tossed onto the road, with the subtitle: "POV: you're on the way back to SG from JB". At least five vapes were shown discarded along the roadside, with some appearing to have been flattened by passing vehicles. Another netizen pointed out that the littering of cigarette butts has caused similar issues, while others suggested setting up a vape disposal bin to facilitate the proper disposal, rather than leaving the roadside littered with discarded vapes.
