She pleaded guilty to one charge on Sept 20 while the other was taken into consideration during sentencing. On Aug 12, 2025, her employer, 38, discovered that cash and jewellery were missing when she opened the safe, and lodged a police report. Investigations showed that between March and Aug, the accused stole from the safe on at least five occasions. The maid confessed she was tempted to steal as the safe was left open and kept in an unlocked cabinet.
