Trixy TohTNPSept 23, 2025The rooftop water tank at a Yishun HDB block is said to have leaked for nearly an hour, sending water gushing down the side of the block and drenching residents' laundry. According to Shin Min Daily News, the incident occurred on Sept 21 around 11am at Block 242 Yishun Ring Road. A reader who alerted the paper said the tank appeared to have sprung a sudden leak that lasted nearly an hour. Town council staff were seen at the block but declined to comment, only identifying themselves as council employees. "When the town council staff arrived, the rooftop was still leaking," he said.
