The event was an opportunity to discover more about the natural burial ground, and included refreshments and a guided tour. Delyse Jackaman, manager of Old Park Meadow, said: "It was a privilege for the team to host local funeral directors, and we were delighted to see familiar and new faces. "The evening was a perfect opportunity to share what makes Old Park Meadow so special." Guests were given a presentation on the burial ground's commitment to a "peaceful and natural" final resting place. Special guests included a team from Essex Wildlife Trust, who shared their conservation and expertise, and calligrapher and artist Simon Barnes, who worked on Old Park Meadow's Book of Remembrance.
