St Clare Hospice in Hastingwood is supporting a national campaign led by Hospice UK. St Clare Hospice chief executive Sarah Thompson said: "The need for hospice care is rising fast – but the cost of providing care is soaring, too. This year’s Hospice Care Week theme, 'More than you think', highlights the wide-reaching care hospices deliver in communities, care homes, and people’s own homes. St Clare Hospice is asking supporters to contact MPs and encourage them to attend Hospice UK’s parliamentary event at Westminster on October 15. Sarah said: "Every message makes a difference and helps to show MPs just how much their local community values hospice care."
