By Amos HarrisThe University of Liberia (UL) and the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) have formed a partnership to overhaul bathroom facilities at UL’s Capitol Hill, Fendall, and Health Sciences campuses. The initiative was finalized on Tuesday during a meeting between UL President Dr. Layli Maparyan and LWSC Managing Director Hon. “LWSC is well-positioned to collaborate with UL to improve both the water and sanitation conditions on UL’s campuses,” Ali said. UL, using funds provided by the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, will supply the renovation materials. The work will be jointly executed by LWSC technicians, UL’s Plant Operations Department (POD), and a newly appointed UL technical team.
