Forty-four members and guests attended this Year’s harvest supper at Berrow village hall on Saturday evening, September 6. After a “delicious” meat and potato salad meal served by catering manager Sandra and her volunteers, came the entertainment from talented vocalist Maria Florey from Cheddar. This event concluded with a raffle, which on this occasion, raised £110, which will go towards running costs and the eventual charity sponsorships at the end of the “moose financial year.”After the event, vocalist Maria Florey said: “Thank you all so much for having me. “What a lot of work and what a lovely ‘bunch’ of people! (the meal was wonderful too…many thanks)”
