All new windows and doors were crafted in Against the Grain's Katoomba factory from New Guinea rosewood, using traditional mortise and tenon joinery and putty glazing. The profiles and mouldings of the existing heritage units were precisely reproduced, ensuring complete visual continuity between old and new.
