DuBose was killed on July 24, 1999, over a misunderstanding with police in San Diego. Kouris turned countless hours of testimony, police reports, and interviews with eyewitnesses, family and teammates into a documentary, "Demetrius DuBose, All American." The next screening of the documentary is in November at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center at Notre Dame.
