New Day Intake CenterSOUTH BEND, Ind. -- New Day Intake Center announced a groundbreaking ceremony for its new facility at 4022 Old Cleveland Road in South Bend. The event marks the next phase of their effort to end chronic homelessness in South Bend and will be held at 1 p.m. on September 22, 2025. The 25,000-square-foot, permanent low-barrier shelter includes:- 30 single-occupancy rooms and 45 double-occupancy rooms for a total of 120 beds. - An art workshop and indoor communal space.
