Cass County Sherriff\'s OfficeCASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash in Howard Township in Cass County. The investigation shows that a 27-year-old South Bend man was traveling northbound on Carberry Road when his vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle then hit a tree and caught fire. The driver and the passenger were able to exit the vehicle. The passenger went to Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash.
