The driver of one of the cars approached police and said the other driver, Gaines, had rammed into her intentionally before passing out behind the wheel. Gaines told police she had been shot at near the complex's entrance. After the ramming, police say a male passenger in the victim's car can be seen shooting at Gaines' car. According to the women, Gaines had let herself into their home. After Gaines rammed them, the women said the man was the person who fired a gun and fled the scene when officers arrived.
