MaganaLA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff's Office reports a sergeant was traveling north on Pine Lake Avenue near Waverly Road around 11:04 p.m., Monday, when a vehicle traveling south was determined to be going 60 mph in a 35-mph zone. La Porte County Sheriff's OfficeThe driver, identified as 23-year-old Liliana C. Magana of La Porte, was taken to an area hospital for a certified chemical test and medical clearance. Magana was then taken to the La Porte County Jail on three counts of Operating While Intoxicated. Magana is being held on a $905 cash-only bond through Superior Court III.
