Kettering (Ohio) Health reported an internet outage on Sept. 23, prompting several of its hospitals to divert stroke care. The outage began around 7:35 a.m. and is believed to be the result of an internal IT issue, the health system said in a statement on its website. Kettering Health said it is using its standard downtime procedures. Phone systems remain operational, but several internet-reliant applications — including the patient portal MyChart — are unavailable.
