Another incident at a local medical facility involving public and nursing staff has occurred. This time it was today at the Frederick Miller Polyclinic, Glebe, St. George, which ended with the Police being called. CBC understands it involved people awaiting health care who were banging on a door while nurses were engaged in a meeting. General Secretary of the National Union of Public Workers, Richard Greene, gave CBC News details on the incident. The General Secretary says increasing acts of violence and disrespect of health care workers is unacceptable and must come to an end.
