Boy who beat cancer launches football challenge for charity
[]
The Argus | News
Charlie has suffered from a ruptured spinal cord since he was just 18 months old, with rehab being interrupted by a development of leukaemia in 2019.
However, Charlie defeated cancer in 2022 and has continued his Neurokinex treatment, with Jamie saying that: "it’s vital that he stays as strong, flexible and resilient as possible."
The #TopBinsSmallWins challenge encourages people of all ages and abilities to film their ‘top bin’ trick shot, post it on social media using #TopBinsSmallWins, nominate friends to take the challenge and donate what they can to the Neurokinex Charitable Trust.
Charlie participates in the challenge himself, raising awareness of life-changing spinal cord injuries and inspiring others to take part and donate to the trust.
Jamie went on to explain the motivation for the challenge, "We want to give back through the #TopBinsSmallWins Challenge: to help others access the incredible support Charlie has had through Neurokinex."
