The city of Red Bank applied for and has received a $250,000 “Leaning into Communities” grant from Hamilton County. Red Bank will use the grant to build a park with a basketball court at 3113 Dayton Blvd. The former Red Bank Middle School property at 3715 Dayton Blvd. With no opposition to this plan for conversion of the property to parks, the Red Bank Commission has approved paying a $10,000 fee to TDEC to initiate the conversion project. Red Bank will apply for a Tennessee Highway Safety Office Community traffic safety enforcement and education grant for $80,000.
