Mr. Wade started with an entry-level job in 1983 and becoming CEO in 2016. Along with the EPB board of directors, the transition will be done in an orderly process. Mr. Wade will stay another year during the transition and will retire by fall of 2026. Ms. Rehberg will work closely with Mr. Wade throughout the coming year. Ryan Keel will continue as EPB’s president of energy and communications which is responsible for all the company’s energy and fiber optic services.
