County Commissioner Gene-o Shipley announced Monday that he plans to seek another term as District 1 commissioner. He said, "I want to thank the citizens of District 1 for their continued support. That same commitment to service has guided every decision I’ve made on the County Commission representing District 1. "Over the past term, I’ve stood firm as a strong supporter of our law enforcement, public works and volunteer fire departments. "I humbly ask for your prayers, your support and your vote as we work together to keep District 1 strong and moving forward."
