Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded around 7:20 p.m. on Monday, to the 8800 block of Dayton Pike to assist the Soddy Daisy Police Department regarding a report of an armed man involved in a domestic dispute. HCSO SWAT and hostage negotiations team members were also deployed to the scene. After several hours, the suspect, Robert Ridge, was safely taken into custody and turned over to the Soddy Daisy Police Department.
