The city has issued traffic impacts for this weekend's IRONMAN in downtown Chattanooga:The Chattanooga Division of Transportation welcomes IRONMAN this upcoming weekend. All businesses and hotels beyond the MLK Blvd intersection can be accessed via Blue Goose Hollow, Canal Street, and Molly Lane. The bike course will no longer travel south into Georgia but will utilize Highway 27 as mentioned in the closure notice below. RACE DAY HWY 27 CLOSURE DETAILS:The IRONMAN bike course has shifted away from the southside and into Georgia, instead utilizing Highway 27 into portions of Red Bank, Hamilton County, and Soddy Daisy.
