2024 is coming to an end, and the New Year is almost here with some new laws for Delaware. Last year, America's "First State" introduced a minimum wage increase and employer tax relief. Here are some laws that will go into effect in 2025:Abortion insuranceAbortions, along with related health care, will be covered by insurance starting January 1, 2025, for Medicaid and January 1, 2026, for most private and state-regulated insurance plans. The bill will require "all health benefit plans delivered or issued for Medicaid to cover services related to the termination of pregnancy. "Delaware Paid Leave offers paid leave to employees who have been employed for at least one year and at least 1,250 hours with a single employer."
