The 16-song album produced by Jake Gear includes collaborations with fellow Big Loud artist Charles Wesley Godwin, as well as Molly Tulle on the already-released “Prodigal Daughter,” and a song with Texas music supergroup The Wilder Blue. We don’t give Whiskey Myers nearly enough credit for being one of the spearheads for the independent music revolution in country, in part because as their career has gone on, their country influences have got a bit towards the background until it’s probably fair to consider them a full on rock band.
