Teams from Wells and Hunstanton were paged to Hunstanton beach at around 10.45pm on Saturday. It happened while Norfolk was under a yellow weather warning for strong winds. They searched the entire area but did not find anything. Eventually, police officers confirmed the person had been found safe and well and the coastguards were stood down. They were out for several hours in total, with the Wells team returning to their station at 1.30am on Sunday.
