Officers spoke to both groups but took no action, with the women claiming police accused them of "causing trouble". The incident took place on Sunday night as the trio were attempting to remove the flags from Park Road, in Diss. A group of teenagers on bikes and on foot confronted the women, who then tried to walk away while being shouted at. The three women appeared to try to calm the situation and said: "Don't worry, you don't need to be angry, happy to have a conversation with you." The teenagers could be heard asking: "Why are you taking English flags down, this is our country?"
