Banham Car Boot had been Norfolk's longest-running sale until the coronavirus pandemic meant the event had to be halted. Martin Goymour, who runs the sales, said there will be a trial to see how popular the weekly events are from April next year. Mr Goymour believes car boot sales are not as busy as they were in their prime but are still enjoying success. Fellow organiser, Kiera Goymour, added: "I think people like that we hark back to a simpler time, as a car boot on a Sunday is a bit of an institution. "People are also a little bit more conscious about recycling clothes and avoiding fast fashion now, while not everyone has access to sites like Vinted and DEPOP, a car boot is a great alternative."
