NPR announced that Sonali Mehta has been named Executive Director of NPR Music. Mehta is a music industry professional with extensive experience in the areas of artist partnership, content strategy, and business development. She will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategy for NPR Music, including collaboration with NPR’s network of music stations; a vision for growth and innovation with the globally-beloved Tiny Desk franchise; and identifying new pathways for further positioning NPR as an essential force in music.
