The Space Data Association (SDA) has awarded the multinational technology company GMV, a provider of space solutions and services, the contract to develop its next generation safety of flight system, the Space Safety Portal (SSP) to support today’s mission critical space operations. SDA selected GMV using a competitive process during which SDA received multiple proposals. “We are honoured to have been tasked with the development of a next generation service to deliver spaceflight safety for SDA and its community,” said Felipe Jiménez González, head of Flight Dynamics at GMV. “This represents a major leap forward in our collective mission to safeguard space operations through innovation, collaboration, and unmatched space traffic coordination capabilities. We are committed to the timely and smooth transition to this upgraded service for our space operators.
