Marsha Henderson joined staff and trainees at Ade’s Place last week for a patriotic programme marking St. Kitts and Nevis’s 42nd Independence Anniversary. During the patriotic programme, Minister Henderson emphasized the importance of unity, cultural pride, and community involvement in nation-building. Established in 2005 by a concerned parent, Ade’s Place serves as a safe haven for adults with disabilities, filling a critical gap in community services. Since 2017, Ade’s Place has been integrated into the national Skills Training Empowerment Programme (STEP), currently supporting 20 trainees.
