Our previous looks at It: Welcome to Derry focused on some more grounded, realer evils lurking at the heart of a small town in ’60s Maine—cops, racism, sexism, the titular Derry has them all. But now we’re getting closer to the show’s debut, HBO wants to remind you that things are going to get somehow even worse for the residents of Derry. Just over a month before the show hits streaming, today HBO dropped our biggest look yet at It: Welcome to Derry, unveiling a glimpse at the horrors to come when Pennywise (the returning Bill Skarsgård) makes his arrival known. Inspired by the flashback sequences in Stephen King’s beloved horror novel, Welcome to Derry also stars James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso, and Chris Chalk. It: Welcome to Derry hits HBO and HBO Max October 26.
