MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A Macon-Bibb County code enforcement officer was arrested Monday in connection with a violation of oath of office investigation, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said Christopher Tyler Willcox was taken into custody just before 4:30 p.m. September 22 and transported to Investigations Headquarters. Willcox, who was employed by Macon-Bibb Code Enforcement, was charged with violation of oath by a public officer and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. The investigation remains active, the sheriff’s office said.
