The New York Academy of Sciences invites you to “Endometriosis: A Look at Current Practices and Emerging Science.” This symposium will explore the current standard of care and the emerging science around diagnosing, treating, and studying endometriosis. In the past two years, several publications have outlined significant steps forward in the diagnosis, treatment, staging, and characterization of endometriosis, including large single-cell sequencing data sets, the commercial availability of a new non-surgical diagnostic test, and a clinical trial for the first non-hormonal treatment for endometriosis.
