(Metamora, IN) – The historic Metamora community and Franklin County elected officials are launching a coordinated effort to ensure the beloved canal town not only survives but thrives for generations. Officials say this initiative will help identify critical infrastructure improvements to support the town’s long-term sustainability. “This partnership represents a turning point for Metamora,” said Alan Stenger, President of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and the community group I Love Metamora. “Our goal is to preserve the town’s unique history while attracting new visitors, businesses, and opportunities. Participants can also complete a survey available online through a QR code and in paper form.
