Kenny Lee Evans age 79 of Mankato passed July 11, 2025 Kenny will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors. Hunting, fishing,and trapping and spending time with his dogs. He was always happy to share a good story a laugh and drink with his friends. He was happiest at the first light of dawn. It brought a smile to his face to hear the whoosh and whistle of wings over head before you could identify the species, but Kenny could tell what they were. He loved the challenge of providing and surviving on what mother nature gave him.He loved the Minnesota river valley and all it had to offer. He truly enjoyed his friendships he made on his many deer hunting trips to his favorite deer hunting spots in Iowa. He would never turn a friend away without a hello and thank you always willing to help. It is now time for him to watch the sunset. May he always feel the warmth of the sun on his shoulders, the sting of the brisk North wind in your duck blind, and the wet muzzle of your best friend wanting that pat on the head, a tug on your line, the smell of a mink as you enter the creek.
