Iran’s authorities have executed another participant in the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests from September 2022. Early Saturday, Mehran Bahramian (pictured) was hanged in Isfahan in central Iran despite torture allegations and pleas from human rights groups. Authorities refused to turn over Bahramian’s body, burying it in Isfahan’s Bagh Rezvan cemetery without a ceremony. Iran’s leadership has executed at least 10 Woman, Life, Freedom protesters. Bahramian and his brother Fazel were convicted by the Samirom Revolutionary Court of “enmity against God”.
