Indian diplomat Kshitij Tyagi speaks at the 60th session of the UNHRC on Tuesday. (Source: X)India has strongly criticised Pakistan at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), accusing the neighbouring country of making "baseless and provocative statements" and abusing the forum. Speaking at the 60th session of the UNHRC, Indian diplomat Kshitij Tyagi said Pakistan's delegation "epitomises the antithesis" of constructive engagement. At the same session in Geneva, Indian diplomat Anupama Singh also accused Pakistan of politicising the forum by repeatedly raising the treaty issue. She said these actions undermine the Council's integrity and distract from its core mandate.
