Kulman Ghising, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation; Physical Infrastructure and Transport; and Urban Development, and Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava discussed various issues in including energy and water resources, road and other on-going projects. During the meeting held at the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation in Singha Durbar, Ambassador Srivastava congratulated the newly appointed Minister Ghising and wished him a successful tenure. The discussion focused on Nepal–India cooperation in the areas of energy, water resources, and irrigation, as well as the progress of projects being constructed with Indian assistance. Currently, Nepal has received approval to export 1,165 MW of electricity to India, including to Bangladesh via India.
