During the meeting, discussions were held on various topics including the friendship and cooperation between Nepal and the UK, British support in the energy sector, investment possibilities in infrastructure, and necessary cooperation in addressing issues arising from climate change. Minister Ghising stated that the main priorities of the government formed after the "JEN–Jee" movement are the reconstruction of infrastructure damaged by the movement, holding general elections, and maintaining good governance. He appreciated the longstanding support of the UK in Nepal’s economic development and acknowledged the effective assistance being provided for the establishment of charging stations to promote the use of electric vehicles as part of making Nepal carbon-free. Stating that the UK and Nepal share a longstanding friendship, Ambassador Fenn expressed that Nepal's success is viewed as the UK's success and assured continued support for Nepal’s economic transformation.
