Results of an Economist/YouGov poll, conducted September 19-22, released Tuesday finds that 75% of U.S. adult citizens either never watch (58%) Kimmel’s show or do so less than once a month (17%). Democrat adults are far more fond of Kimmel’s liberal, and often vicious, political propaganda than are Republicans. What’s more, Kimmel’s program stacks up poorly against late-night talk shows, in general, the survey shows. Here, 26% of U.S. adults watch late-night shows at least once a week, but only 16% watch Kimmel that frequently. Less than half (43%) of adults say they have a “favorable opinion” of Kimmel, including a minority (45%) of Independents and just 12% of Republicans.
