SRINAGAR: Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced a new brownfield project under its Gateway brand in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, further strengthening its presence in the Valley’s hospitality sector, industry sources said. Suma Venkatesh, executive vice-president of real estate and development at IHCL, said the project aligns with the company’s growth strategy. We are delighted to partner with Riaz Ahmad Panjra for this project,” she was quoted in media reports. Riaz Ahmad Panjra, managing director of Cemtac Cements, was quoted in a media report as saying: “We are delighted to collaborate with IHCL to bring the Gateway brand to Pahalgam. Globally, the hospitality group operates more than 550 hotels across 14 countries and over 180 destinations.
