Splendid by Porvenir has just ended its Keitt Kong mango production in Northern Sinaloa, which officially draws the Mexican mango season to a close. The company is now moving to off-shore mangoes from Brazil, Ecuador and Peru through January, when the highest volume of mangoes imported into the U.S. from Mexico–67 percent–starts up again. Although the company maintains its year-round supply of mangoes and sweet corn, it pivots throughout the year to accommodate the seasonality/availability of the two crops.
