Kantar (Worldpanel by Numerator) has unveiled its ranking of France's favorite fruit and vegetables for the summer of 2025. Among vegetables, tomatoes dominate the rankings with over 116,000 tons consumed, confirming their status as a summer staple. French consumers found summer and exotic fruits particularly appealing, but clearly lost interest in traditional citrus fruits (clementines, oranges) during the summer period. On the other hand, avocados went up 38.2%, watermelons 37.9%, exotic fruit 6.7%, endives 37.7%, and red cabbage 23%.
