LONDON — Stephanie Phair, best known to the fashion industry for her role as the chair of the British Fashion Council between 2018 and 2022, has been named a senior adviser at L Catterton, the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-backed private equity firm. In this role, Phair will apply her operating expertise and knowledge across consumer categories to support L Catterton’s portfolio companies globally, the firm said. Phair, who attended the Edeline Lee spring 2026 fashion show last weekend in London, most recently served as the group president of Farfetch and executive chair of New Guards Group until May 2024. During her tenure she worked closely with former BFC chief executive officer Caroline Rush helping the British fashion sector navigate Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic. Phair has been an adviser for venture capital firm Felix Capital since 2016, and she served on the board Moncler between 2016 and 2022.
