From 2 October 2025, Disney+ subscribers in South Africa will be able to watch ESPN Africa linear channels at no extra cost. ESPN channels on Disney+ in South AfricaSports fans will have access to ESPN and ESPN2, which are 24-hour channels that broadcast live and studio sports programming from the United States (US) and around the world. Linear channels show content at scheduled times and in programmed order, unlike on-demand streaming which allows viewers to stream at their own time. ESPN2 features American sports, including the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB) and National Hockey League (NHL).
