As the discredited Equality and Human Rights Commission brings forward replacement guidance on the meaning of the Equality Act, Leader of the House of Commons Lucy Powell MP has promised it will be discussed in the Commons. The EHRC suspiciously rapidly brought out new guidance claiming the judgement to have far wider implications than the judges stated, while some organisations were remarkably quick in announcing what it meant for their staff and services.
