The Brief Metra announced it will expand weekday and weekend service along three train lines starting next month. BNSF lineStarting Sept. 8, the BNSF line will add weekday express trains and hourly service on the weekends. UP-North lineStarting on Sept. 20, the UP-North line will also expand its weekend service.
