The Australian entrepreneur Craig Wright who recently identified himself as the Bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto, hired the same public relations agency used by the late David Bowie to secure several tell all features with the BBC the Economist and GQ earlier this week. Mr Wright promised that he would provide extraordinary proof to secure his statement but has since withdrawn the claim with a worrying blog post stating – “I do not have the courage”. Wrights hiring of the public relations agency to launch the claim raises several warning flags in the direction of a possible staged attempt at claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto by using the influence and industry contacts of a top tier agency.
