Ahead of Year 3 under Mike Rhoades, Penn State basketball has announced a quartet of captains. Junior forward Saša Ciani, freshman guard Kayden Mingo, redshirt sophomore guard Eli Rice and senior forward Josh Reed earned the designation Tuesday. Rice is one of three returners from Penn State’s 16-15 2024-25 team. Ciani and Reed are Penn State’s only two transfer additions this season. After two late-October exhibition games, Penn State’s 2025-26 season will tip off on Nov. 3 vs. Fairfield at home.
